My Story
Design has always been a big part of my life. After four years of intense study to become an Industrial Designer (think product design, ergonomics, user behaviour), I set off with my toolbox of new skills.
My career began as a Packaging Designer at VISY, and then I diversified into display stands. After I made the decision to relocate to Vancouver, Canada, my skills developed even more.
Today's designers need to wear many hats. While my family grew, so did my portfolio! For the next four years my work as a freelance designer varied. The majority of my work involved working on numerous fashion catalogues for a children's clothing designer (http://redfishkids.com/), layout design for local non-profits, and staging children's holiday events.
Upon returning home to Brisbane, Australia, I launched a children's line called 'Little Boo'. Selling to discerning boutique retailers, Little Boo produced high quality designer apparel. We were proud to be a locally owned and locally made business!
Hats I'm wearing now....
