Hallway Galleries

Display your photographs!  Personally, I love looking at other peoples photographs.  I feel like it gives me insight into their life... I learn something new about a person.  This is a great example of a picture wall.

Bringing the outdoors in

Here's a great example of a small garden that has some serious WOW factor.  Good design makes the user blissfully unaware of the detail that is needed to create an efficient use of space. 

Simple.  Ambient.  Inviting. 

Staging & Styling

Yesterday I was on set working for AnnaNova to help create their promo video.    The table looked like Aladdins' Cave! 

My design tip for the day:  Layers are a great way to build a scene.  Stagger your product at various heights to create depth.

Fireplaces

Dual sided fireplaces are the perfect balance of indoor and outdoor functionality.  They add warmth, charm and ambience to two rooms at once.

I've always been a big fan of displaying artwork.  Thin shelves are a great way to get colour on your otherwise bland walls.
